Giro d'Canberra

The date for 2020 will be announced soon.

While the pros are battling it out in the Giro d'Italia, challenge yourself in the Giro d'Canberra and make a difference for your chosen charity. Whether you're in it for a fun day out, or to achieve a personal best, make every second on the course count by fundraising as part of your ride.

The Rotary Club of Woden Daybreak will be running Giro d'Canberra and looks forward to supporting all the riders completing the course.  The Rotary Club of Woden Daybreak will use proceeds from the registration fees to support Rotary projects.

When: 19th of May 2019
Where: Stromlo Forest Park, Canberra ACT

Time: 7.30am for a 8am start

Cost: $120

The first 100 riders to register will receive Giro d'Canberra Toe Warmers. These will go quickly so do not delay your registration.

The ride:

The ride will be 130km starting and finishing at Stromlo Forest Park, with a Mt Stromlo climb just before you finish at Stromlo Forest Park.

The 130km ride will be challenging, and has everything in it.

This event is not a race, so ride at your own pace and enjoy the beautiful scenery around Canberra.

There will be a food and water station at the start of Corin Road and at Corin Dam.

There will be several support vehicles in the event you need assistance.

When you arrive back at Stromlo Forest Park, the Rotary Club of Woden Daybreak will be cooking up a storm on the BBQ, so please have a sausage sandwich and let us all know how the ride went.
